Joseph H. Pilates (1883-1967) “Joe” is the founder of Pilates. Joe was ahead of his time and is recognized as the father of treating the “modern lifestyle” marked by poor posture, improper breathing, and inactivity. Joe recognized these issues of the modern lifestyle and developed more than 500 exercises and invented unique apparatuses to improve health.
Pilates, as a method of exercise, focuses on a healthy, flexible, aligned spine, with a strong core, deep awareness of the breath and the musculature of the “Powerhouse”. Pilates as a body conditioning exercise method is still unparalleled in its performance and continues to grow and become increasingly popular among health-conscious exercise enthusiasts.

Pilates Pop-Up offers more than low-impact, full-body workouts in group classes at several convenient outdoor parks in Dallas. With a range of class offerings that challenge your mind as well as your body, Pilates Pop-UP provides a path to a healthy and more fulfilling life. Our classes are held on Saturdays 10:00 am & Sundays 04:00 pm.

Pop-Up Pilates offers more than outdoor group classes. We offer private instruction, including Reformer, “Wunda chair”, customized Mat instruction. Our certified instructors custom design your workout to help you reach your fitness goals. Challenging exercise routines and learning Pilates as a method makes private Pop-Up instruction very popular for our those just starting Pilates as well as advanced members seeking to refine their practice.
